Sandy S asked:

Avoid the commercialized ones like Germaine’s, it was bad. It’s a longer drive, but go to the one at the Polynesian Cultural Center on the NE side of the island.

The Royal Hawaiian Hotel has the only Luau on the beach at Waikiki. The Sheraton has a good one aswell but not on the beach. Try the Royal Hawiian. The Hotel is a classic and if you can stay in the older part its like going back in time.

I would say skip the ones around Waikiki and go to the one at the Polynesian Cultural Center.
At the PCC, you will see so many diffrent cultures and the night show is one not to be missed!! Horizons is an excellent show and the music and the people just put on an excellent show!!

Create a video blog…instantly.
I have been to Germaine’s, The Polynesian Cultural Center, The Hale Koa Hotel, and Paradise Cove, I thought by far the Paradise Cove one was the best, Especially with kid’s they have activities before the Luau, tattoos, coconut bowling, weaving banana leaves, spear throwing, etc. I would go with the box seating, for the extra money you will be served, you each get a picture, you get a flower lei, or a kukui nut lei, also a souvenir, you also get several free drink coupons. Hope this helps! Have fun!
