Is it legal to have a pet pig at home in Honolulu, Hawaii?

kwazywahine808 asked:

I have a pet pig living with me at home and I was wondering if it was legal? If not, is there any temporary homes out there in Honolulu, Hawaii available. I’m willing to pay rent, just as long as I can leave her there. I’ll tend to her everyday, feed her, etc. I just need a place for her to live for a while till I can find a home in the country.

check with the city hall or anywhere else that they have the book of rules. if there is no rule about pigs living with you, then you are pretty much fine. try going to the northshore in oahu. there are a lot of houses in the country there. i drove by there when i was on vacation, and i saw a lot
