You Can Go See Quite A Few TV Cartoon Characters On A Southern California Vacation
In recent months I’ve had the chance to go to most of the seven major theme parks in So Cal. Between them all, you can immerse yourself in the world of a bunch of your favorite TV and movie characters.
We know where to find Mickey Mouse and all his Disney friends-in Anaheim. There are a few really good websites with helpful information about planning a Disneyland vacation. Disney has no-doubt done the most effective job of bringing imaginary characters to life, much to the delight of us all.
Nearby Knott’s Berry Farm has its own crew of lovable characters with Lucy, Snoopy and the Peanuts team at Camp Snoopy. The Peanuts guys have been at Knott’s Berry Farm for quite awhile now and seem to feel at home there.
Universal Studios up in Hollywood would be a good next stop in your vacation, where you can chill with the likes of Homer Simpson, the Flintstones and Rubbles, Betty Boop and Spiderman. Plan out your trip to the crazy characters at the Universal Studios theme park by doing a little research with the SoCal Vacation Guru.
The third park to visit for characters would be Six Flags Magic Mountain up in Valencia. The Six Flags roller coasters seem to be the biggest draw to the park for most visitors. As soon as you get inside, you realize that the place is run by the Looney Tunes characters from the Warner Brothers cartoons.
Keep your eyes peeled for Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny, Sylvester, Yosemite Sam and the rest, as they sign autographs at certain designated spots. The childrens’ area has attractions centered around these whacky celebrities, which is a nice break from the thrill rides that dominate the place. You won’t have to go too far to find a couple of the Looney Tunes folks here and there in the park.
