A Honolulu, Hawaii vacation is an amazing adventure in the largest city in the State of Hawaii. Honolulu is located near the southern tip of the island of Oahu, and is home to about 300,000 people. This bustling town provides a multitude of options to people taking a vacation. There are many different places to stay, and even more things to do while you are there.

There are also many different packages including all-inclusive resort and hotel deals. Most resorts and many of the hotels and home rentals boast an amazing ocean view and offer the amenities of a home. Choosing where to stay while visiting Honolulu may seem like a daunting task, but if you remember a few simple questions the list of possibilities will narrow. Remember to consider the number of people you are traveling with. A group of 12 or 15 people will need different accommodations than a group of 2 or 3. Another thing to consider is the location of your accommodations. Do you want to be close to the beach or would you rather be close to downtown and more attractions?

Waikiki also holds an annual celebration on Lei Day, on May 1st of every year, with many exhibits, activities, performances, which culminate with the crowning of the official Lei Day Queen.

There are so many ways to indulge yourself and your family during your Honolulu vacation, and everyone will be sure to cherish the memories the rest of their lives. It doesn't matter where you decide to stay, or what you decide to do while you are there, your vacation will most certainly be the trip of a lifetime.
